Why are the invitations only offered through e-mail?

A couple of reasons:

• First, I’ve noticed that people who provide me with their contact information are more engaged and are are more likely to respond than those who just stop by to read the occasional article I post. Because of that, I feel the need to reward you. So, when you sign up for my list, you’ll get first dibs on everything and every event I do. (Oh! And never fear — I hate spam as much as you do. I respect your privacy and will never share your information with another living soul.)
• You may notice that I ask for a little more than just your name and email address. This is because I sometimes develop products and services that are specific to a phase within the product/service life cycle or even to a targeted niche. If you provide me with this extra information, I’ll make sure to send you messages that are relevant to your interests. (Only your name and email is required.
