Have you read Douglas Adams “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” series? If you haven’t, you really should. Not only is it a hoot and a half, but there are some really good lessons to be learned in there.
For example, Arthur Dent learns that the trick to flying is to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Lesson to be learned? Sometimes failure brings you more success that you would expect.
Another good piece of advice: On the cover of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy are the words, “Don’t Panic.” Good advice for anything in life, for as soon as you panic, you’re more likely to do something stupid and screw everything up. I know I have. Continue Reading →
