Passionate Internet Voices Talk Radio

Lillian Cauldwell’s passion for life is evident in everything she does. In fact, the Internet radio show she runs is called Passionate Internet Voices Talk Radio. Her mission, which she talks about here, is a powerful motivator for baby boomer women who are ready to “break out” and pursue their heart’s desire.

In The Beginning

I started out as an author writing a three-act play called T.L. The Lord. It placed as first runner-up in a playwriting contest in Redondo, Calif. That year I was diagnosed with systemic lupus, which hospitalized me four months of the year. I learned that this disease was caused by stress, and I had to quit my regular lifestyle and learn a new one.

I became a full-time author and took my time in writing science fiction, short stories, poetry, and plays. After my second book, Sacred Honor was published, I decided to become a talk show host to promote and further market the book.

My first talk show host job was with Artist First. I remained with them for a year, and then moved on to Global Talk Radio. After four months, I decided to go out on my own and start my own Internet radio station. I did my homework and learned how to put together a station and how to create podcasts from my audio recordings. From there, I started interviewing published mid-list and beginning, unknown authors to help them further market and promote themselves to the media and to the buying public. During the interviews, I also provided the authors with additional information and material to help them get themselves further exposed and branded.

One Year Later

I started in mid-December 2005, with no one knowing anything about me. It’s now mid December 2006 and I have close to 40,000 downloads from 72 foreign countries. My daily hits include from 3,000 to 7,000 each day. All of this comes from word-of-mouth. I haven’t done any direct marketing because I didn’t have the capital to invest in it.

Her Mission and Goals

My main platform is based on running programs similar to National Public Radio and Television Broadcast. I encourage women to “take a leap of faith” and follow their heart’s desire. I knew I was good at what I did, but I never thought I could get additional talk show hosts to join me in my endeavors. I was wrong. When people ask me where I’m going with Passionate Internet Voices Talk Radio, I tell them about my vision.

The company’s mission statement is: “The one is enhanced by the many.” The company’s mission logo is: A league of Nations among other Internet radio stations. Voices of the People — United We Roar!

I believe that by putting together all the “little” voices of the people, we can accomplish great things and change the world. I envision Passionate Internet Voices Talk Radio as a community of people–authors, poets, freelance writers, the world — as a place we can all come together and let a noisy world know where we stand and how passionate we all are for achieving our goals.

My personal mission statement is this: To succeed in life, you must put yourself into the paths of giants. Wall flowers need not apply.

Additional Words of Wisdom

I’ve discovered that if you can face yourself in the mirror and like what you see, then you can face the rest of the world and be at peace with it. That’s what I do when I need to give myself a good talking to. I face the mirror and look into my own eyes. I find that I can’t lie to myself because my blushing cheeks always force me to face the truth about myself.
