Keeping It Real: 3 Questions to Ask Yourself During the Coming Year

1. What do I really want for 2010?
You may have so many things you want to do with your business in the coming year that you are starting to feel overwhelmed. Keep asking yourself this question until you can boil it all down to just a few “big picture” desires for the new year. That way you can focus on what is truly important when you start to feel the overwhelm take over again.

2. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
Is your business satisfying you? Is it time for a change? If it is, are you thinking a major change or maybe just a series of small tweaks to improve things. As the year unfolds, you’ll need to ask yourself this question again and again. It is so easy to get caught up in the daily tasks that you not only loose sight of the big goals, but stop gaining pleasure from what you do for a living.

3. What motivates me?
You might be surprise, but your answer to this question can change. In fact, as you learn more about yourself and what you have to offer by just practicing your business, you may find that what you though would motivate you doesn’t at all. So, it can really pay to stop every once in awhile and ask yourself this question … then do your best to give yourself an honest answer.
