Law of Attraction through Scripting
Sometimes, there is a huge gap between knowing something and doing something about it. This is as true with the Law of Attraction as it is with everything else.
Like everything that resembles the Law of Attraction, people often get discouraged very easily at the beginning, because the promises of great things brought on by the philosophy doesn’t happen when they want it to or as fast as they want it to. The bottom line is that the Law of Attraction worked one million years ago and it works today in 2007.
Being patient is the key to success in everything and it is the same thing with this way of living. Once you understand how it works, you will realize that you need to be specific about what you desire and truly believe it will happen. For example most people begin with wishing for more money. They’ll do this for a whole 15 minutes. However, for the remaining twenty three hours and forty five minutes of the day, they will wonder how they will ever make it through, with their money problem.
That’s not the way it works. Negative thoughts lead to negative things happening. In the scenario above, which thought do you think was stronger? The bad one, of course. The Law of Attraction is powerful, but it cannot compensate for a preponderance of negative thought.
But don’t despair, there is a way to correct this; just feel what you wish for by writing your wish down. This is called scripting. When you use scripting, you’re really helping your cause.
Again, you have to use your common sense. Just because you write something down, you cannot go and think well this is not working because I wrote something down for one week and it still didn’t happen. You have to live your wish; you have to really feel it in your heart. Think of how great it will be when you finally achieve your goal. A good technique when you write is to make it as a form of a personal letter.
And put emotion into it. If this sounds confusing, go back to the past posts that describe the Law of Attraction and try again.
Like every new thing you try in your life, you might think to yourself that this is the dumbest thing you have ever tried and that it cannot possibly work. But if you really stop and think about it, try it once for real and live your feeling. You might find out that you feel better afterwards.
Oh! And for those of you celebrating Christmas Eve today, Merry Christmas!
